DOROTHY SMITH Dorothy F. Smith, 81, of Bennington, Kansas died January 25, 2010 in Minneapolis. Dorothy was born September 27, 1928 in Ellsworth to Will and Winifred (Martin) Suberly. Survivors include her husband Floyd of the home; her children, Annette Scott and her husband Jim of Bennington, Janette Hildreth and her husband Blain of Wichita, and William "Bill" Smith and his wife Darcy of Bennington. Graveside services were held January 29 at the Bennington Cemetery. Memorials are to the Salvation Army.   JIMMY SMITH Jimmy J. Smith, 77 of Wichita died January 25, 2010. He was born May 2, 1932 in Oakley to Henry and Molly Mayo Smith. Survivors include a son, Greg Smith; and daughters, Stephanie Suzanne and Nancy Tabac.. A graveside service was held Jan. 30 at Walnut Grove Cemetery, near Culver. Memorials are to a charity of the donor's choice.     MARY C. WAISS Mary Catherine Waiss, 79, of Bennington, Kansas passed away February 1, 2010 in Salina. She was born February 23, 1930 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Norton D. and Ruth (Lane) Newbury. Survivors include her husband Ted Waiss of the home; her daughters Karen Ann Johns and her husband Henry of Lawrence and Linda Kay Ochs of Topeka. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 6 at the United Church of Bennington.
