GEORGE W. PARKS George Wayne Parks, 74, of Ganado, Texas passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2009. He was born February 1, 1935 in Delphos to the late George D. Parks and Erma Josephine Boucek Parks. He is survived by his wife, Dana Engelland Parks of Ganado, Texas; a daughter, Cyndi Poulton of Ganado; sons, Paul (Beverly) Poulton of Missouri City, Texas and Brent (Molly) Poulton of Ganado. Survivors include her husband Carl Persinger, Delphos; sons, Nicholas and Carl Wayne Persinger, both of Salina; brothers, Eddie Jones, Bennington and Richard Jones, Wells. Graveside inurnment is at 2 p.m. July 2 at Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis. ROBERT SLOAN Robert William Sloan died June 17, 2009 in Federal Way, Washington. He was born August 11, 1921 to Vernon and Louise Sloan in Salina. Survivors include his wife Mildred; daughters, Caron (Marcus) Zuger, Lorle (Tim) Tweten.
