Personal comment by John

Someone please do something!

Yesterday the streets of many major cities all across the United States were filled with Hispanics and Hispanic sympathizers trying to make the point that illegal immigrants from Mexico are not being treated fairly by this country. Two obvious differences between this demonstration and the one held several weeks ago are: there were a lot more at the rallies yesterday; and we saw a lot more American flags this time which was certainly a good political move on their part.

I cannot blame any Mexican resident for wanting to come to this country…in any way, shape or form. It would seem the conditions in Mexico are such that her people are trying to leave by the millions. Why heck, if I were from there I would probably be trying to get here too. But for them to march and demand their rights may not have the positive results they were hoping for.

Who do I blame? I blame the politicians and businesses that are ignoring or taking advantage of this mass exodus…
